As you might have noticed, we rolled out the new Gyminee site last night. Over the last few months, many users provided us with feedback and comments on how to make the site better, and we have integrated many of those ideas into the new look and feature set.
After you have had a chance to look around and see the new features, please write us and let us know what you think! As always, our user feedback is important to us. Keep the suggestions coming!

Many users are curious as to what's been happening with Gyminee and what changes are in store. The truth is, we have been working harder than ever to make Gyminee the most effective and easy-to-use tool available for tracking your health and fitness.
The biggest update to Gyminee will be a total website redesign. The new design will make Gyminee much easier to navigate and help users be more effective at keeping each other accountable. Along with the new website design, there are many new features that will be added. We are very excited about what's in store, and we'll be posting more details and some screenshots over the next couple of weeks.

I am really excited about our newest feature - Gyminee Widgets. Now you can showcase your fitness progress on your blog (Blogger, Wordpress, etc.) or on other social networks like Facebook. We have three widgets for you to choose from:
- Gyminee Charts Widget - This one is my favorite. You can feature your progress graph for weight, calories, fat, carbs, or protein intake. My personal widget for calories is displayed as an example. The graph features neat mouseovers, and the same click-and-drag zoom features as your graphs when you are logged in. Now you can let the world keep you accountable, not just Gyminee members.
- Gyminee Progress Widget - A text-based widget that can show your weight loss progress, your weight left until you reach your goal, calories burned, total cardio distance for the week, and your maximum bench press. This widget is available in two sizes. Here are a few examples:
- Gyminee Exercise of the Day - This widget features a Gyminee exercise video. If you have a fitness blog, this would be a great addition.
Installing a widget is really simple. Once you are logged in, click the Add a Widget link on your Locker Room page. We appreciate you helping us spread the word!

Introducing Dee Nicovich
If you are a
Gyminee PRO member, then you will be happy to know that we have just added a new trainer.
Dee is a Personal Trainer, Aerobics Instructor (land and water), Swimming Instructor, and Health and Physical Education Instructor whose services are available in the Huntsville, AL area. Dee has provided 3 workout programs that are available to PRO users and are designed for a variety of skill-levels.
When asked why she pursued a career in the health field, Dee responded:
"Health has always fascinated me. From a very young age I was surprised how proper exercise and a good diet could change a person for the best. I found I enjoyed sharing with others what I learned about health and physical exercise."
New PRO Programs!
PRO trainer Hugo Saner also created a new workout program that is available to all Gyminee PRO users. It is called Max Muscle Gain and is a great overall workout, incorporating cardio with intense strength training.
We'll be adding even more new trainers and workout programs within the next month, so stay tuned!
